The creation of a top-quality mount begins before the hunt. Call us before you leave, and we will make sure you have all the information you need to assure that your trophy will reach us in the best condition possible. Knowing where you are about to hunt, we can alert you to problems with the area and with certain animals… and tell you how to prevent certain problems. We will arm you with personal laminated shipping tags, Federal Migratory Bird Tags (if needed) and inform you of the best way to attach them to your hides and skulls for safe shipping to Michael Vaden's Wildlife Artistry, Inc. We have skinning instructions available, in English and Spanish, so you are certain your trophy is getting the best field care possible.
We can accept birds coming from Africa frozen rather than just salted skins. This allows our artisans more freedom in creating your mount and allows you to bring the birds back as carry-on luggage. Why is this important? Salted skins have a less than 50% chance of being mountable. This is a free service we can offer our customers… but we must know in advance so we can make the proper arrangements with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife!
When your trophies arrive at Michael Vaden's Wildlife Artistry, Inc., each piece is carefully inspected, matched, and tagged with your name and address and put into our inventory system within 24 hours. We track your trophy through our entire process, from receipt to tanning to mounting to final assembly. You will be notified with an inventory list by fax or e-mail within 48 hours.
We want to make sure your hunt remains a memorable experience. We will consult with you to determine the best way to incorporate your trophy into your display area. Our taxidermists are expert in animal anatomy and native habitat, and Michael Vaden's Wildlife Artistry, Inc. has a full-time master cabinet maker in-studio. All combined assures you that your completed trophy will be a harmonious combination of animal, habitat, and presentation.
Ask us about our Trophy Room Design services. A well-designed trophy room incorporates many aspects (including layout and lighting) and enhances each of the pieces inside. Don't just tell your friends about your hunt, show them the story with a beautiful diorama.
Each trophy is treated as an individual piece at Michael Vaden's Wildlife Artistry, Inc. There's no production work here! Careful attention is paid to the entire process: from skinning, form alteration and preparation, mounting, finish work, to habitat. You are assured that Michael Vaden's Wildlife Artistry, Inc. will use the best materials and latest techniques available… anything less just simply won't do.
Michael Vaden's Wildlife Artistry, Inc. can provide crating and discount freight worldwide. We will work with you to assure that your trophy is received and displayed in the best manner possible.
